Karen A. Robinson, PhD is Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) School of Medicine (General Internal Medicine and Biomedical Informatics & Data Science) with joint appointments in the Departments of Epidemiology and Health Policy & Management at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is Director of the JHU Evidence-based Practice Center and, within the EPC Program, serves on the Methods Steering Committee. For over 20 years she has been an active member of Cochrane and was an editor for two review groups (including the methodology review group). Dr. Robinson was on the Board of Governance for the Systematic Review Data Repository, serving as chair for two terms. She is on the Board of Directors for the Scientific Knowledge Accelerator. Within the Guidelines International Network (G-I-N) she served on the steering committees for Tech and North America. She serves as a founding steering group member of the Evidence-Based Research Network.
